Watercolor and Acrylic on Unsized Watercolor paper, 22×22 inches

This mixed-media painting started with a foundation of transparent watercolor over which I worked in acrylic to develop the surface. Its design evolved from the ancient geometric construction known as the “flower of life”, visible in several different places in the painting.
