“Scrying” is an ancient divinatory practice which frequently employs a dark reflective surface and low light, as a method to directly access the subconscious mind. I painted this Sea Jelly in layer after layer of UV stable Epoxy Resin. It has a three dimensional depth in person which is very difficult to communicate in photos. The Inky richness and murky depth combine with the reflective surface to produce an artifact ideally suited to the practice of Scrying.
